💘 What's This, Again?

Picture Shark Tank — except instead of pitching a startup, your best friend stands on stage with a slide deck and pitches you. Your personality. Your best qualities. Your worst habits too, if they're feeling honest.

That's PPT Dating: skip the swiping, let the person who actually knows you do the selling instead. It's taken over bars in London, New York, and Dublin — and we've been running Taipei's version since our first event. Round two is here, and this time we brought muscle: F45 Taipei Arena is co-hosting, so beyond watching strangers get pitched, there's also a shot at winning workout classes for whoever pairs off tonight — romantically or platonically, we don't discriminate.

The F45 Collab
Every general admission ticket includes a drop-in class voucher — because nothing tests a connection like surviving a HIIT class together. Pair off tonight (a date, a friend, whatever) and you'll also get a two-week trial for two, so date number two doesn't have to be another coffee shop.

🎟 Tickets — Read This Part Carefully

There are two kinds of tickets. Which ones you need depends on what you're doing tonight:

  • Presenting a friend, or just here to watch? You need ONE ticket: general admission. Early Bird is NT$600 while it lasts, Regular is NT$688 after that.
  • Being pitched tonight? You need TWO tickets: general admission, PLUS a Guy Pitch or Girl Pitch ticket (NT$600). The Pitch ticket reserves your spot on stage — it stacks on top of admission, it doesn't replace it.

Only 6 Guy Pitch and 6 Girl Pitch slots exist. If you want to be featured, don't wait.

What's Included? General admission gets you:

  • Entry
  • 1 Güt drink (mocktail or cocktail, your call)
  • 1 welcome shot
  • Snack bites
  • 1 F45 keychain
    • 1 F45 drop-in class voucher (worth NT$850 on its own)

Add it up and general admission alone is worth about NT$1,350 — more than double what you're actually paying.

🙋 How to Participate

Step 1 — Buy your ticket(s).

  • Being pitched tonight? Buy BOTH your general admission ticket (Early Bird or Regular) AND your Guy Pitch or Girl Pitch ticket — add them to the same cart.
  • Presenting a friend, or just here to watch? Buy one general admission ticket. That's it.

Step 2 — Lock in your pitch slot. Only 12 pitch slots exist per event (6 guy, 6 girl), first come, first confirmed, waitlist after that. To confirm your spot, DM us on Instagram (@gutco_official) with the below. We'll message you back to confirm your spot!

  1. A screenshot of your own general admission ticket
  2. Your friend's name (the one being pitched)
  3. A screenshot of your friend's Guy Pitch / Girl Pitch ticket

Step 3 — Send us the deck. Email your slides (Google Slides, Canva, or PDF) to celine@gutco.co by Thursday, July 23. Miss it and you'll still get your turn, just live and unscripted, and out of the running for the Best Pitch prize. Need inspiration first?  See these examples →

One more thing: can't make it after all? Cancel at least 48 hours ahead for a full refund — no-shows without notice may lose future pitching privileges.
